Our Services - Specialist Design Facilities
The in-house design facility is fully networked and linked to the internet. Electrical drawings are produced using the latest AutoCAD software. Three dimensional rendered images can be supplied as an image or movie file using Unigraphics Solid Edge Software.
This enables the customer to visualise the proposal and make changes before the commencement of fabrication. The DNC link to the shopfloor CNC machinery is then programmed using Radan CAD/CAM software taken directly from the 3D image file.
Final documentation including drawings, test reports and manuals can be supplied in electronic format. All major file conversion formats are supported.
Testing is carried out in our own well-equipped test suite. Off site inspection and testing using portable equipment is also available during the commissioning of the customer’s completed installation. Testing facilities available include three-phase primary and secondary current injection up to 5000 Amp and high voltage insulation testing up to 36kV. Rigorous test procedures are applied, both in the presence of Classification bodies and the customer representative.
